Who can benefit from STEP ?


The STEP program is primarily open to unemployed or precariously employed citizens or permanent residents looking for advancement and aims to provide essential coaching, training and skills development to eligible participants.

Support and Other Services


The Quinte Skills Training Employment Program (STEP) is managed by Quinte Immigration Services.

This Employment Program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario to supporting job seekers, incumbent employees and employers in our community. It is available to all Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents and Protected Persons who meet the program’s eligibility criteria.


Quinte Immigration Services has supported our Quinte Region Community by providing Settlement and Orientation Services to newcomers and Canadians for over 34 years.
