Start your enrollment in STEP today

STEP participants will meet with an Assessment Support Worker to determine eligibility for the program.

During a suitability meeting, with the Pre-Employment Support Worker and the Job Developer, you will be able to ask questions to ensure that the program is a good fit for you.

There are 3 weeks of Soft Skills workshops developing skills such as: recognising your own unique skills and strengths, developing the ability to make your resume and cover letter appropriate to the job you are applying for and refining your interview skills.

You will then enter in to up to 8 weeks of free training/ certification to enhance your employability relevant to the specific sector of employment that you have selected.

During your training, you will work closely with a Job Developer to find a position to utilise your skills.

To apply for the program, you must be:

  • A Citizen, Permanent Resident or a Protected Person in Canada
  • Working less than 20 hours a week or not working at all
  • Must be 15 years of age or older
  • A International student
  • Participants may have some previous experience within the selected sector

We have spots available!  Participants for our next training course are currently being enrolled!
